10 Best Asian Wedding Venues in London 2018/2019
We have had the privilege of photographing Asian weddings at some of the most amazing venues in and around London. With many venues to select from, finding the right wedding venue is not an easy wedding planning task. We would like to share our favourites and 10 best Asian wedding venues with you.
1. THE ROYAL AUTOMOBILE CLUB
The Royal Automobile Club is at the pinnacle of luxury and exclusive wedding venues. The private members club is one of the worlds most prestigious and is located on Pall Mall, in the centre of Westminster. Just a stone's throw away from Mayfair, St James’s and Piccadilly this truly is one of the top wedding venues anywhere in the world.
2. SHERATON GRAND, PARK LANE
This stunning art deco hotel on Park Lane is located in one of the prime spots in London. Being in Mayfair the hotel is surrounded by some of the most luxurious and expensive real estate in the world. Most weddings are hosted in the 11,000 sq ft Grade II listed ballroom which can hold up to 500 guests.
3. LE MÉRIDIEN, PICCADILLY
The Le Méridien, Piccadilly is in the heart of one of the greatest cities in the world. The Oak room is absolutely stunning with its wood panelled walls and grand chandeliers. The Oak room adjoins the main ballroom and is a perfect setting for canapés and pre-drinks. This Indian wedding venue will suit a slightly more intimate wedding of around 220 guests.
4. HEDSOR HOUSE
Voted one of the top Asian wedding venues by Brides Magazine this Georgian stately home is wonderful! Being used regularly as a setting for TV shows and movies such as, Legend a movie about the Krays starring Tom Hardy and Downtown Abbey this venue has some much to offer. The house itself it immaculate and the gardens are manicured to perfection. The venue can accommodate indoor and outdoor marquee weddings.
5. SOFITEL T5 HEATHROW
The Sofitel Heathrow is a luxury 5 star, modern hotel close to terminal 5. The Arora Suite with an impressive capacity of 1000 wedding guests this venue is for the big fat Indian wedding! There is a choice 12 lighting colours in the suite that can be changed to match the ambience your dream wedding deserves.
6. SHENDISH MANOR
Have your Asian wedding at this stunning historic venue and you will feel like a million dollars! The manor house is surrounded by 160 acres of idyllic gardens and countryside. Also great for a round of golf!
7. THE NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM
The Natural History Museum really does not need an introduction. Dream and fairytale weddings are made here. If we had to choose a wedding venue which is the ultimate in “a sense of occasion”, it would be the natural history museum. Words honestly can not describe the feeling you get when you are here. With its Victorian architecture, stunning arches, rich history and dinosaurs it is truly spectacular!
8. MANDARIN ORIENTAL
The Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park is one of the worlds greatest hotels. It has hosted some of the chicest weddings and events. Overlooking Hyde Park, just minutes from Harrods and Harvey Nichols you really are in a place which is very special. Have your reception in the 24-carat gold gilded ballroom and then to the Royal Suite with a stunning terrace to relax for the night or two!
9. WALDORF HILTON
Located on Aldwych in Covent Garden, The Waldorf with its Edwardian grandeur has two main wedding event spaces. The historical Palm Court and Adelphi Suite are for couples who wants a wedding venue which is a little special. OK, actually it is very special!! One of London’s most iconic hotels would be befitting of even the most lavish of weddings.
10. ONE MARYLEBONE
One Marylebone formally Trinity Church is a Grade I listed venue built in the 1820s is another of London’s opulent wedding venues. The Soane Hall has an awe-inspiring stained glass window and intricate mosaics. The hall holds up to 350 guests. The galleries are on the first floor and are bright and airy beautiful spaces perfect for smaller events or pre-drinks. One Marylebone is also home to the worlds first luxury wedding department store.
